"You're a witch! The worst kind!"
Titania Tilpin (b.1962) was a professor at Bloor's Academy under the name Miss Chrystal. She was the favorite professor of all the students, and was said to always keep a secret. She was formerly a beautiful woman with long blond hair and a beautiful smile. She is now described as having lank, colorless hair, sagging yellow skin, dark-ringed eyes, and thin purple lips. She was revealed as a witch in Charlie's second year. Everyone discovered her real identity and realised her relationship to Joshua at the Hundred Heads Dinner; on top of that, Charlie found out that she fell in love with his father, Lyell Bone, but he broke her heart when he married Amy. Bent on revenge, she set Count Harken free. She failed initially because her son accidentally broke the Mirror of Amoret during a struggle with Charlie. In the latter half of the series, she was preparing revenge using the evil endowed children from the academy: Dagbert, Joshua, Idith, Inez, Manfred, and Dorcas. In the last book, Titania uses the now-mended Mirror to allow Harken through so he and his army can attempt to take the Red King's city back with him into Badlock. She leaves the city at the end of the series with the rest of the evil people.
