Tancred Torsson (b. 1990) is a weather monger and a friend of Charlie and the other's on the "good" side. His father is a stormbringer, like him. He lives at the Thunder House in the Heights near Lysander Sage and Gabriel Silk.
Tancred Torsson is a descendant of the Red King's, sixth child, Petrello who had the power to control the oceans and the weather. Tancred is a storm-bringer (weather-monger) and can bring rain, lightning, snow, and even wind, depending on his mood. He is a very temperemental person and cannot hide his feelings because his endowment would usually show it for him. Winds often follow him everywhere and make his cloak billow to different degrees, depending on how angry or upset he is, his hair also crackles with energy.
His best friend is Lysander Sage, who has the endowment to bring his spirit ancestors to the battlefield. He also has a crush on Emma Tolly, but however he had a girlfriend before.
He has arachnophobia ( fear of spiders), and in the fourth book when he was under Joshua Tiplin's "magnetism" spell, Olivia Vertigo used her newly discovered endowment, to make Tancred see spiders and then he immediately snapped out of the spell.
Tancred is shown to be distantly related to Dagbert Endless in the sixth book as they are both descended from the Red King's son, Petrello. Dagbert is initially excited to meet Tancred, due to their similar endowments, but these feelings are later soured when Tancred forces him to stop his drowning of Charlie Bone and Billy Raven. Dagbert later exacts his revenge on Tancred by trapping and then drowning him, although he is later brought back to life by The Flames.
