Sir Gideon Bloor was the headmaster of Bloor's Academy before Ezekiel Bloor. Sir Gideon is the son of Bertram Bloor and Donatella da Vinci, and the father of Ezekiel Bloor. Sir Gideon wasn't endowed, or interested in magic. He was a mathematician, and later knighted for tutoring a prince. Sir Gideon had nothing remotely fatherly about him. His wife is Gundrun Solensson.
