Eric Shellhorn (b.1999) is the son of Arthur Shellhorn, and he lives in Piminy Street with his stepmother Venetia Yewbeam. His endowment is animating stone creatures. He is also called Eric the animator. Eric is a thin, skinny 6 year old with tangled shoulder length dark brown hair and in the sixth book, Emma Tolly describes him and his sister as "the most pathetic looking children she had ever seen". Eric is descended from Lilith's grandson, Edgar.
